What does Adventures in Excellence Provide?

Adventures in Excellence provides online, semester-long writing and literature classes. 

Students can enjoy these lessons from the comfort of their own home. I teach all the classes and am an accredited tutor who not only has years of tutoring and teaching experience in the classroom but also thrive when using the online format. I believe that online classes can and should be engaging, interactive, and incredibly informative. These live interactive lessons allow students to clearly see my face and read facial cues, to interact and exchange ideas with their peers, and will challenge them to take their writing and literary skills to the next level.

What about the students who struggle with boredom or are easily overwhelmed? 

I have worked with students who struggle with dyslexia, students who have difficulty reading, and brilliant students who are easily bored. In my experience, every student finds certain things that challenge them and is capable of brilliance; they just need to be given the proper instruction. I cap my writing courses at just 5 students so that I can accommodate and challenge each student for optimal learning results.

What do these classes look like?

My classes are held via zoom, meet once a week, and last 50 minutes. I cap composition classes at 5 students so that I can personalize the lessons. I provide the students with clear homework at the end of each class so that students can work on materials throughout the week and minimize screen time while maximizing learning.

What other resources does Adventures in Excellence provide? 

On top of my composition and literature courses I provide private tutoring and paper grading services. Eventually, I plan on adding additional resources such as print-outs, blog posts, and videos which I hope will be a help.
